system implements a set of safety measures related to the identification of criminals and terrorists and the prevention of use of forged documents at the moment of visa procurement in consular sections. The Consul system operates by obtaining the facial image of a person that has applied for a visa and making a comparison with his (her) identification in the database of wanted persons, thus preventing entrance to the country of those persons that pose a threat to security.
