FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM SOFTWARE DEVELOPER'S KIT

OVERVIEW

FRS SDK (Facial Recognition System Software Developer's Kit) is a developer's kit for the construction of automated information storage and retrieval systems based on facial image analysis.

FRS SDK v.3.2 is based on client/server technology and intended for the construction of facial recognition systems. FRS SDK v.3.2 includes:

1. A central enquiry processor and license manager which carries out remote client enquiries via centralised     processing.
2. A client library providing a functional interface to exterior applications, and serves as a mediator between     them and the central processor.

FRS SDK v.3.2 contains face detection, face encoding and face recognition technology. The FRS SDK v.3.2 algorithms provide high speed and accuracy of system performance both in searching and facial recognition through multimillion record databases. Verification or identification systems can be developed with FRS SDK v.3.2:

  • The verification system (one-to-one) allows users to detect a face using a digital image or video sequence     and to match with biometric facial data stored on a computer or different types of plastic cards (smart-    cards, cards with tape streamer or bar codes).
  • The identification system (one-to-many) allows users to search biometric templates identical with the     presenter's facial images.

    FRS SDK v.3.2 allows users to build identification systems using mobile phones. The process of recognition takes up to 20-30 seconds from the moment the photo input to the mobile phone until the transfer of the identification result (facial images and personal data of people most similar to the individual being identified) to a display through GPRS or CDMA operators.
